Conference Policy
Registration & Cancellation Policies
Registration and dinner fees for all participants are due prior to the conference beginning.
Registration fees:
- More than 60 days before conference: Full refund issued
- 30–60 days before conference: 50% refund of registration fee
- Less than 30 days before conference: No refund
Dinner Fees
Dinner reservation fees are non-refundable. Substitutions are accepted prior to the conference start date. Please submit substitution requests in writing to the FAOG Administrator or at the registration desk.
Photo & Video Consent
Registration and participation in the FAOG Annual Conference constitutes agreement to the use of your image or voice in recordings, photographs, and other reproductions of conference activities by FAOG. If you have concerns about being recorded, please notify conference staff upon arrival.
No Solicitation
FAOG events are a space for peer learning and professional community. Unsolicited sales pitches and commercial solicitation outside of designated sponsor activities are not permitted unless the attendee has opted in to being contacted during registration. Please honor the spirit of this policy beyond the obvious dos and don’ts.
Continuing Education Credits
CPE Credit: The 2026 FAOG Annual Conference is expected to offer Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits. FAOG is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education. Specific sessions eligible for CPE credit and the total number of credit hours will be announced once the program is finalized. For reference, the 2025 conference offered up to 18.5 CPE credits.
HRCI Credit: Select sessions from the 2026 FAOG Annual Conference are expected to qualify for HR (General) recertification credit hours toward aPHR™, PHR™, PHRca™, SPHR™, GPHR™, PHRi™, and SPHRi™ recertification through HR Certification Institute (HRCI®). Final eligible sessions and total credit hours will be confirmed and communicated in advance of the conference. Attendance must be verified for credit to be awarded. For reference, the 2025 conference offered up to 6 HRCI credits.
Code of Conduct
FAOG is committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive experience for all participants. We ask that attendees, speakers, sponsors, and contractors help foster a positive environment for everyone, both during conference activities and in related spaces such as hotels, restaurants, and off-site venues associated with the conference.
Our shared expectations:
- Treat all participants with respect and professionalism.
- Be considerate, collaborative, and constructive in your interactions.
- Help create an environment that is inclusive and free from harassment or discrimination.
To support this environment, we ask that participants avoid:
- Intimidating, threatening, harassing, or discriminatory behavior or language.
- Unwanted physical contact, stalking, recording without consent, or inappropriate communications.
- Sexually harassing behavior of any kind.
- Disruptive conduct, including behavior related to excessive alcohol consumption, interferes with conference activities and in related spaces such as hotels, restaurants, and off-site venues associated with the conference.
- Misuse of the conference app, including sending unsolicited or inappropriate messages or posting disruptive content.
If concerns arise: Participants are expected to comply immediately with any request to stop inappropriate behavior. FAOG reserves the right to take appropriate action, which may include removal from the event without warning or refund, or restrictions on future conference participation. FAOG reserves the right to determine what constitutes unacceptable behavior.
Reporting a concern: If you experience or witness behavior that does not align with these expectations, please contact the FAOG Conference Organizer, Administrator, or Board Chair or Vice Chair - in person, by phone, or by email. All reports will be handled promptly and respectfully.
